LeVonne Lindsay

Costume Designer

LeVonne Lindsay is an award-winning costume designer based in her hometown of Philadelphia, PA. After receiving her MFA in Costume Design from the University of Maryland, College Park, Ms. Lindsay was awarded a two-year Allen Lee Hughes Fellowship at Arena Stage in Washington, DC, and designed costumes for their 2004 production of Yellowman, directed by Tazewell Thompson. She recently returned as the costume designer for the world premiere of Tempestuous Elements in 2024.

LeVonne's academic career includes positions at Valdosta State University, James Madison University, Stevenson University, and The University of the Arts

She continues to freelance for regional theaters across the US and is currently the Costume Shop Manager for the Lang Performing Arts Center at Swarthmore College.
